Sixth Grade Shows Support

Human Heart

Our sixth graders show care and support to their teachers! We tried to all fit into the shape of a heart, then make heart hands. Our students have demonstrated empathy, especially this week, and routinely practice qualities of character. We are so very proud of them!

We had a surprise visit from a former WCS student! She pitched right in to help our class during reading. She had the opportunity to assist students complete a graphic organizer on Mesopotamia; a lesson that she completed as a student several years ago!

Author Celebration

After reading the book "Hatchet," our class wrote argument essays on literary characters and themes in the book. We celebrated with some creative foods and student readings.
